Run by Jean-Pierre Lahiteau, Ch?teau Laribotte has been in the same family for six generations now. Rich, grilled white stone fruits with a hint of lemon and citrus, it is toasty and sweet with succulent acidity to balance. This had some wonderful complexity though, with aromas of tropical fruit, pineapple, honey and marmalade. Nicely balanced, and certainly not cloying, with flavors of honey, mango and ripe melon.
