The grapes were cultivated from vineyards located in Caucete and in Pocito, at 650 and 680 meters above sea level respectively. The soils are alluvial with low organic content. The vines are drip irrigated with snowmelt runoff from the Andes and are trained on trellis.
| Wine maker notes |
| The grapes are hand-harvested and clusters are manually selected before de-stemming. The wine is then cooled and immediately afterwards is separated in the pneumatic press to avoid the transfer of color from the skins to the must. Fermentation takes places at 14°C for 12 days. Select yeasts are inoculated. Wine is then aged in stainless steal tanks for 5 months. |
