Predominantly Gewürztraminer, this blend also has 16% Malvasia Bianca and 8% Marsanne added to it, to create a fresh, spicy-slightly sweet-tangy wine that's ready to drink now. With Gewürztraminer dominating, it's no surprise that the nose is a bit flinty, with rose petal, lychee and lemon scents. And since the wine was aged in 20% new, heavy toast French oak barrels you get a cookie spice note too. In the mouth, it has got a tropical edge, with green papaya, citrus and stone fruit flavors underscored by a little peppery spice and anise seed.
