The refined, finely structured Taylor style marks this ripe, full wine, which marries concentrated black currant and plum fruit to intense impressions of licorice, spice and dried fruit in a velvety, elegant texture.

Wine Enthusiast 91 points - For freshness, it is worth buying this young LBV. It has all the structure needed, a dark chocolate undertone, but it is the fresh black fruits and the lift of acidity that make it so attractive. R.V.
Initially it seems very dry, but there is freshness as well. The wine has a sweet, jelly core, with soft tannins, well balanced. Raisins and black figs dominate, with the aftertaste bringing a firming of tannins and structure. Powerful and impressive. R.V. (Nov 2007)
