AromaS: Black cherry, currants and plummy Cabernet aromas. The mocha, vanilla and cedar from a well seasoned oak, is the perfect complement that gives this wine an attractive and complex nose. Flavours: Shows rich, elegant currant and black cherry fruit framed by toast and mocha from the infused oak. On a second sip you start feeling a depth very uncommon in a wine of this price. Beautiful balance and a lingering finish.

Santé October 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva 2008 - Sante ------------------------------------------ Aromas and flavors of currant, black cherry, blackberry, pepper, and spice; medium to full bodied with a good mouth-feel, approachable tannins, and good depth and structure. ------------------------------------------ Massachusetts Beverage Business August 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva 2008 - Massachusetts’ Beverage Business ------------------------------------------ Eight months in oak, all new. Fuller, more complex, and longer... Very pleasant drinking. Still retains some tannin. ------------------------------------------ Wine Enthusiast July 2010 87 Points Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva 2008 - 87 Points & Best Buy, Wine Enthusiast ------------------------------------------ Sweet, a bit candied and creamy on the nose, with marshmallow and other oak-driven aromas. The palate has a common, regular, comfortable feel as well as vanilla and boysenberry flavors. Dark and savory late; well made in the ”value” class. ------------------------------------------ Wine Spectator April 30, 2010 87 Points Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva - 87 Points, Wine Spectator ------------------------------------------ Forward, with a mix of currant, fig and sage notes backed by a note of graphite on the...finish. ------------------------------------------ Restaurant Wine January/February 2009 4 Stars - Excellent Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva 2007 - 4 Stars, Restaurant Wine ------------------------------------------ Amazing value! The Cabernet is full bodied and ripely flavored, with intense character and evident oakiness; long finish, tasting of black currant, toast, cherry and oak. ------------------------------------------ Wine Spectator May 15, 2008 87 Points ------------------------------------------ This has nice focus, with dark cherry and currant fruit layered with some sweet toast. Shows dashes of vanilla and loam on the finish. ------------------------------------------ Santé ------------------------------------------ Sour cherry and toasted grain jump out of the glass with a briny caraway spice on the palate. A short finish of pleasant but gripping tannins and licorice hints. Seared salmon with rye crust; roast pork. ------------------------------------------ Restaurant Wine November 2007 5 Stars - Exceptional ------------------------------------------ Wonderful quality and value! A supple Cabernet, with medium richness, light oakiness, and a long finish. Hard to beat at the price. ------------------------------------------ Every Day with Rachael Ray June/July 2007 Recommended Wine ------------------------------------------ Delivers Exceptional Value! ------------------------------------------ Santé June 1, 2007 ------------------------------------------ Sour cherry and toasted grain jump out of the glass with a briny caraway spice on the palate. A short finish of pleasant but gripping tannins and licorice hints. Seared salmon with rye crust; roast pork. ------------------------------------------ Wines of Chile Awards January 12, 2007 4th Annual Wines of Chile Awards: Final Results ------------------------------------------ Wine Spectator May 15, 2006 86 Points James Molesworth’s Recommended Chilean Wines ------------------------------------------ Tasty plum and black cherry flavors are forward and open-knit, with toast and briar hints on the easy finish. ------------------------------------------
